I think it's quite fine. Reminds me a bit of that model, Shalom Harlow.

I only like it for a boy

I've known Shaloms who were female. I personally prefer Salome for many reasons, but I think Shalom is a wonderful name as well. Out of those, I like River Shalom Branwen the best.

I think it's a lovely name, I like it a lot. Guinevere Branwen Shalom is my fave combo. I don't like River for a girl at all.

I agree with most of what has been said. I prefer Salome because Shalom is so tied with the greeting.

It's my cousin's nameBut I find it tacky, especially as it's a greeting. Just don't use it.

I love Shalom for a girl.

Shalom is masculine, I can't see it on a girl at all. And like someone else said it would be like naming your child Hello or Aloha.Out of your combos I only like Guinevere and only as a mn. I like River as a boys name. Branwen just doesn't sound appealing to me.

Ditto everything.

Beautiful. I think it would make a lovely fn. But as a mn it is equally nice. From your three combinations, Guinevere Branwen Shalom gmv.

Ditto thatAnd Caemlyn, what do you think of Sholema?

I don't particularly like it. To me, it is similiar to naming a child Hello, but with religious meaning.
