Yes, the nicknames-as-full-names thing is more common here than in the US, although not as common as it is in Britain.Re Montana - TELL me about it! I find it absurd that otherwise perfectly sane Australian parents are naming their kids Montana, Indiana, Dakota etc. It's bizarre. And yes, the parents of Brianna, Hannah and Montanna should be slapped lol.
