Really? Do you think Joshua sounds feminine too? It's almost the same set of sounds . . .
Naoise is a fine name for a boy. If you want those sounds on a girl, use Nisha (it's Indian). I also know a lady from Sri Lanka named Neesha - probably the same as Nisha but transcribed differently. Nisha is fine for a girl.
