That doesn't make it any better.
It probably doesn't mean much to the girl who loves Martha, Abigail, Thomas, John, George, Dot, Louis, Johanna, Anthony, Oscar, Cecily, Basil, Ernest, and on and on because of books, musicals, or favourite historical figures...but those are all real names! Real names that I like based on their sound and value as a name, and not just because of the good association. Rogue and Strider are definetly not improved for me just because Mommy and Daddy wanted to name their kid after LOTR or X-Men. I know I'm a snob but to be frank, that seems more immature than anything else.
