I really don't have an opinion of the name, but I just read today's newspaper. In Cleveland, Asa is the name of the suspected student who shot 4 people in his school and then himself. Needless to say, I'm a little turned off by the name right now.

I have been in love with this name ever since I read a book with a character named Asa. I'm sorry, but don't like Ace. And Asa is such a short name, why do you need a nn for it?

I really like Asa, I think it's beautiful. The only problem is it's only three letters and has two vowels, so it seems "weak" to me sometimes. I wouldn't use it personally, but I'd LOVE to see it on someone else's kid. Ace is nms, but I'd rather see it as a nn than a full name.

It's an okay name, especially since it's biblical. But I don't like it, my Grandparents have a cat named Asa, it stands for Another Stupid Animal. Sorry, if it wasn't for that stupid cat, I'd like it a lot more.

Asa is an okay name. I is a good Biblical name. I don't really like the nickname Ace, but that is because I think that Ace is a very ugly name. Asa is better than Ace.
