I don't think double middle names are awful. I have two middle names and if I have children I intend to give them two middle names. Mine are honouring and any future children will also get honuring names.

Anna Camilla- personally I hate Anna

Teo Topias- Is Topias a variant of Tobias?

Actually, my dad wanted to give me a double mn, but my mother was against it.
Of course, a long name can be nicely done and as graceful as a short one. I know many nice combos of three or even four names. But I just personally loathe double middle names, and I can't really explain, why. :(
