WDYT of Heidi?
I'm on a girls' H name kick lately and so this one is on my mind.I've only known one Heidi in my life so I guess I consider it slightly unusual. And I certainly don't hear it used on babies these days. What do you think? Thanks,Jamie

I really like the name Heidi, I have for as long as I can remember. I've never known any Heidi's in my life, but I do have a doll named Heidi. I also think of the model Heidi Klum, when I hear this name.

There was a girl in my year at school called Heidi (so, born 1984/5). She wasn't a very nice person. It's not really my style, but I know what you mean about H names. I love Holly, Harriet, Henrietta, Hannah...hmm, that's all I can think of right now, but still!GeorgiaPhoebe: Put your face in the hole, ja.
Rachel: Wow, a Swedish massage from a real Swedish person.
Phoebe: Then I am Svedish, ja.
Rachel: So what?s your name?
Phoebe: It?s a normal Svedish name?Ikea.

I've always thought that it was a nice name.

A pretty name. for me, it brings the immage of the little Swiss girl in the story of the same name--mountains, goats, cheese, Alpine flowers.....but I'm of a generation that knew that story perhaps better than it's known now.

Heidi is a big GP for me. I think it's a very cute name. I've only known one Heidi in my life (that I can think of). I agree, it's a name you don't hear very often, although it is nice.

I like it, and I don't know why it seems so many don't care for it in the polls.

It's nice, I don't personally like it, but it would make a good name.♥ Kristen ♥~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

It's nice. Not a favorite of my, but it's a good name. Also not excessively common nor unheard of, which is always great.

I like Heidi a lot. I knew several growing up and I think it can still work well. Very cute and spunky!

I think that's why I like it. I see it as spunky too. A name with a lot of personality and character in my opinion. Not that a lot of names don't have those too but this one really stands out to me I guess.

It's okay, but I'm too tired of it, since it's one of the most ordinary names, given in my generation. Plus, minus a few years.♠Charlie Blue♣

I like it but I'd never, ever use it. I've known one Heidi in my life and I didn't know her for that long but the amount of people that made some weird rhyme out of saying 'Hi Heidi!' was irritating me even in the short time I knew her. I'd hate to be stuck with that for my whole life.

I think Heidi is rather sweet. I do picture a little girl with blonde pigtails, but that connotation isn't too strong. I also like Haidee :-)_____________________________________________________________________Elinor"Well-behaved women rarely make history."

I like it. It's not my favorite, but I like it. My chem teacher in 10th grade actually kept calling me Heidi, because I looked like a former student of his with that name and I sat in the same spot as her. So it kind of grew on me, I guess! Haha.
