What do you think of the name Emmanuel? (for a boy)

Do you distinguish Emmanuel from Immanuel or do you pronounce them in the same way?
Personally I say Emmanuel like the beginning of Emma and Immanuel like 'in' but with an M.

And if you feel like it do you have any good middle name suggestions?
