Eileen
Yes, I know I post about name opinions way too often... but, this is a name I have been thinking about for a while. It was my great-grandmother's name. I was wondering, what is everyone's opinion on Eileen? Good MNs or Good FNs?

Really pretty, but I slightly prefer Aileen. However, Eileen makes me think of the song "Come on Eileen" which is a good thing.

Eileen is a family middle name in our family. My grandmother has it, and her grandmother had it, etc. My younger sister has it as a middle name now. I'm definately going to use it in one of my daughter's names. I personally think its a lovely name. I think it flows well with other names. But that could be because I'm biased. :)I'm really not so keen on it being a first name... its nice and I've known a very sweet Eileen but I really love it as a middle name.

I like Eileen/Aileen. Not enough to want to use it, but it's very nice, classic without being really dated, well-used without ever being trendy.Eileen PatriciaEileen RoseEileen FrancesEileen FayeEileen Jeanette

Love itI've always loved Eileen and wondered why it wasn't more popular. It has such a clean, refreshing quality to it. At one time I wanted to use it for a dd, but my brother used it as a mn for one of his dds, Shannon Eileen. Miss Shannon chose Bridget for a confirmation name which shows great promise as a name nerd, I think. :-)Eileen Bridget
