Its ok, but I only like it said TAR-a. Like Terra just reminds me of terror.

I think it's a decent name, but "Tarja" (Tar-ya) is better, imo.

Sorry, but for some reason I've always hated that name. A vast majority of people I've met with that name have been sort of trashy, so I associate it with that.

I'd like it, if it wasn't overly used in the 80's.

It's my name, and i've always loved it. i pronounce it Tar, as in, "tear a piece of paper"-a. i prefer that pronunciation. It's more earthy. Pronounced tar, as in tar-baby-a is the goddess.

I like Tara pronounced Tah-ra, not Ter-uh like most people do.
