I love Keren! It's my son's name (pronounced like Kiran, of course). My son's name is actually Keraden, but this is great short form.

Keren-Happuch is one of those names that gets my attention everytime. It sticks in my mind. I wouldn't ever use it, but I find it extremely interesting, particularly the meaning (horn of eye-shadow.) Naming a child after an enormous jar of eye-shadow? Too funny.

Karen is nice, but as a child of the 60's I tired of it. I might be refreshing to see a little Karen these days. I wouldn't go for the Keren spelling, though. Spelling headaches galore.

I like unusual names but I can't get behind this name. The name sounds un-finished and will probably be mispronounced.

In my opinion, it sounds too much like Karen to be a good boy's name.

I thought Keren was feminine? I do love Kieran though.
