I like it a lot because I met a girl named Ambrosia before I even knew what to associate it with. I think it's really pretty and unique. You don't see too many Ambrosias wandering around.

I love Ambrose for a boy, but Ambrosia sounds like a porn star to me. :-/

I really like Ambrosia. It is a lovely Greek name that gets knocked because of its associations. I like its ties to Ambrosios (Ambrose) and the meaning.

I can't, sorry. =/Even Ambrose bothers me for that reason, unfortunately. It's pretty much because there's a part in Edward Scissorhands where the lady who's trying to come onto him is like "You promised you'd try my Ambrosia salad!" and shoves it in Edward's mouth. =P He makes the funniest face.

Oh, Jesu, that scene makes me so uncomfortable. She's so skeeze--poor Edward. D:I wish Ambrosia didn't makes me think of foods, but it does...even though nobody makes Ambrosia salad around here.Array

I wouldn't have a problem with it if it wasn't for the Greek mythology association. In case you don't know already, Ambrosia was the food of gods in Greek mythology (which granted them immortality and eternal youth). I generally don't really like any name which I associate with something edible (I detest names like Honey, Cookie, Apple, and Candy...).I do like the meaning, though.
