Russian names

I *adore* Russian names!
Possibly just because I have Russian sisters and I know the language. But still...
Girls:
Svetlana "Sveta" - this is a gorgeous name, I adore it! Another common nn is "Svety" (spelling unknown) but to English ears that might sound too much like "sweaty." I like "Sveta" better anyway.
Tatiana - my dad's favorite Russian name. It is pretty, isn't it?
Ivanna - Hmm, very nice. Although I do slightly prefer Ivan for a boy. :)
Ekaterina - Very pretty, but I think it would be almost necessary to have a shorter nickname. Ekaterina is a mouthful.
Nadezhda "Nadia" - mm, wonderful.
Irina - I'm a little bit biased by this name because it was the name of a rather selfish social worker we knew. But that shouldn't stop you from liking it. ;)
Boys:
Ilia - Hmm, I've never heard of this one, except from Zelda. Haha.
Aleksei - I love it! I can't even say how much I love it!
Innokenti / Innokentiy - Hmm, I'd have to think about it.
Nikolai - Awesome! I love this name. "Kolya" is a possibility.
Evgeni - Another one I've never heard used. I'd also have to think about it for a while.
P.S.
Some other Russian names that I love:
Vanya [m]
Christia (kris-TEE-a, my sister's name) [f]
Liliya (Christia's name before we adopted her) [f]
Elena (a girl we tried to adopt, remember the primary y sound) [f]
Mikhail [m]
I'm sure there are more, too... :)
