Beatrice
What do you think of Beatrice? Would Beatrix be better? What about Bellatrix? With the Harry Potter character, is it too horrible to use? Please help me with middle names.

I love Beatrice, but I don't care for the -trix part of Beatrix or Bellatrix (or the Bella- part of Bellatrix for that matter :b).

I don't really like the name Beatrice at all. I don't think that people would think about Harry Potter when they heard this, but like I've said before I didn't catch Harry fever like so many others did. So anyway for middle names...Beatrice Taylor
Beatrice Louise
Beatrice Leigh
Beatrice Rose
Beatrice Elizabeth
Beatrice Hope
Beatrice Samantha
Beatrice Addison

I like all of them - Beatrice, Beatrix, and Bellatrix are all wonderful. I don't prefer one over the others, really. And, although I do associate Bellatrix with the HP character, it doesn't bother me.

Joy! Beatrice is way up there for me. One of my absolute faves. Beatrix is lovely too though I personally like Beatrice even better. (Perhaps it's that nn Trixie, I hate that.) Bellatrix is NMS...I don't think the HP association is too much of a problem but I don't really like it. Definetly prefer Beatrice or Beatrix! Some MN ideas:
Beatrice Jane
Beatrice Deirdre
Beatrice Helen
Beatrice Eloise
Beatrice Mary
Beatrice Ingrid
Beatrice Margaret
Beatrice Ruth
Beatrice Olive
Beatrice Opal
Beatrice Mathilde
Beatrice June
Beatrice Susannah
Beatrice Shoshannah
Beatrice Tziporah
Beatrice Elaine
Beatrice Madeleine
Beatrice RoswithaSee anything you like?

I like Beatrice and Beatrix equally. They are both very lovely names.Bellatrix sounds nice. I don't care about Harry Potter so that doesn't influence me at all. I prefer Bella, though.

Thanks.
I absolutely love Harry Potter, but that doesn't really make a difference, because it would be other people hearing it and making the association I wonder about. I'm fine with it, though.
