I have been fond of Edmund ever since I started reading Narnia. Edmund is my favorite character in the books. My husband really wanted to use Edward for a mn, but I said no - but now I really want to use Edmund, so hopefully a compromise has been worked out.

I love Felix Edmund, and I think everyone's already suggested everything I could possibly think of :p I also like Edmund as a first name, possibly nn Teddy.

I love Edmund. Not sure if my S.O. does or not.

My favorite is Felix Edmund, but Edmund really is flexible.

Felix Edmund is nice, although Felix always reminds of a friend's dog, unfortunately. I hate it when people use eligible human names for animals! Felix is such a grand old name.

I hate it too... my best friends' favorite names are Isabella and Rose and I know two dogs named that. Kind of ruins it for you, doesn't it?

A friend of mine (Ladybug around here) roughly paraphrased that quote for me. I thought it was pretty cool. :) Gerard Edmund is nice. Both names kind of carry the same tone.

I love Edmund, it's an absolute favourite of mine.

Oh, there's definitely a chance! I could like it for either gender, but I've only known a girl Bryn, so that's the hangup. I'll giftwrap Brynn/Bryn Edmund and send it back to you, then. ;) Great combo, really!

Well, I'm far more fond of Edmond, myself, but there's nothing wrong with Edmund. Very handsome name.

I'm a bit tired to come up with original ideas--sorry! ^^;; So, we'll have to use your list.

Nicholas Edmund (I have to admit that I'd dig just plain Nick Edmund a lot--Nick on its own is so...Fitzgerald. Or Hemingway.)

Edmond with an O is a suburb of my city, so that is one reason behind my spelling choice, and also my reason for using it as a mn, unless I move. Bethany is another suburb actually five minutes from where I live, and the jokes get pretty old. I also have a strong affinity for the Chronicles of Narnia, which spells the name with a U.
