I like the name Maggie but am not too fond of it on its own. I definitely prefer it as a NN for Margaret. Maggie almost sounds too cutesy/little-girlish for an adult; at least she'd have the choice of going my Margaret or Maggie when she was older. BTW, Margaret is a huge GP of mine, although I prefer it as a MN.
