My cousin gave birth to their second child Ellie Marie. I think they just liked the name Ellie, but Marie is the middle name of our grandmother. Ellie has an older sister Adalyn Jane.

And, my other cousin gave birth to twin girls named Claire and Jane (no middle names).

What do you think?

Ellie is horrible as a full name--it's SO cutesy. Adalyn is really bad as well.

Claire and Jane are so gorgeous, though I don't really care for the practice of not giving kids middle names.

Ellie Marie is a bit nn-ey for me, but cute. Adalyn is nms, too trendy, specially with this spelling.

Claire and Jane are very classy. They may seem a bit plain, but I also think they look kind of fresh, specially Jane.

Ellie Marie isn't my favorite -- the double -ie endings stand out, and Ellie feels very informal for a given name. I like that Marie has significance, but as a MN, it's so overdone. Claire and Jane are lovely, though I prefer combos to just FNs.

Clair and Jane with no middle names are very simple, and we can see how many classmates they have with those names. They are cute, and I can see why the family like them, but much too simple.

Ellie Marie is very cute! The two together are a good match.

Adalyn Jane- Isn't her cousin's name Jane, or is that two different sides of the family? Adalyn is gorgeous, and will age well, though.

I just don't like the name Jane.

These cousins are third cousins to each other. Yes, when I heard Claire and Jane, thought it was pretty boring.
