I accidentally made a post in the "Name Facts" board instead of this one, so here I go again!
My name is Margaret and I'm going to begin university in the fall. I went by a childhood nickname my entire life & hated it, so I applied to my new school as Margaret, however I am still looking for nicknames that go well with it. The thing is, I absolutely HATE all nicknames that go with Margaret! Here is a list of common nicknames for this name:
Maggie / Maggy
Marge
Meg, Peg / Peggy
Madge
Absolutely terrible (sorry if someone has this name, it's just my opinion). I was looking at this web site and came across the name Margot. By definition it's the French, short form of Margaret and it's the prettiest name I've come across that's related to Margaret.
