Schuyler or Skylar?

I dislike both because Schuyler makes me want to say "Shoo-ler" and I don't like Skylar because it is so trendy.
Hmmm, I actually think Schuyler looks more masculine, and I'd use Skylar for a girl. I like it.
Schuyler for boy, Skyler/Skylar for girl
Schuyler for a boy, Skylar for a girl

ditto this...I really like Schuyler on a boy :)
I perfer Schuyler no matter the gender. And I think you could easily call the child Sky if Schuyler is the full name.
Skylar for me
Schuyler doesn't give off the right pronunciation, IMO. It makes me want to say "shwy-ler", or "skwy-ler". That U just throws me off!

It's the same as the word buy or guy.
Schuyler (I am considering it for a son), but it's nice this way only for both
