Yvette?
I don't know, I'll probably get crap for this one, but I've found myself strangely attracted to it lately?
Thoughts? Comments? Opinions? Combos? Concerns?

A strictly local issue. In the province of Quebec(Canada), the name Yvette is sometimes used to mean a quiet, subserviant, no-opinions-of-her-own woman. As"She's such an Yvette!"
This has on occasion had political repercussions, as women precieved to be Yvettes didn't like being put in such a box, and rose up and voted as a block.

I kind of like this one. It is on my ABC list for the Y's. So it's one of my favorite 'Y' names :)P.S. I love Cecilia, Gabriel Henry, and Nathaniel Quentin.

I like it. It's pretty and less common, but not out-there. I don't think you should be concerned about any references. If you like it, use it. As for combos, how about:Isla Yvette
Eleanor Yvette
Coral Yvette
Cora Yvette
Yvette Clarissa
Yvette Claire
Claire Yvette
Yvette Celeste

It's not a favorite of mine, but it's pretty. I don't know why you'd get crap for it; it's a perfectly good name.

It's okay, but doesn't really do muchfor me. The vet sound isn't that attractive, and I keep thinking it sounds a bit like Corvette. Like maybe a Corvette you'd buy online: an E-vette.I like Yvonne much better.
