Re: Celeb Baby Names [A-C]

I like:
Addison - surname and masculine but I still like it
Astrid - exotic but traditional
Atherton - surname but I like it
Belle - family name, I love it
The boys are not impressive to me but I can stand these:
Chance - ok, but I think of the word "chance"
Baron - decent
Beckett - decent
August - my "fav" of the boys choices
As for "are they kidding?"
Allegra - allergey medication
Banjo - poor child
Bluebell - ahhh, first thing that comes to my mind isn't pretty!
Brook-Lynne - at least spell it correctly
Chimere - looks like cashmere
Cosmo - Kramer
Chord - on the guitar?
Buck - Doe?
Bow-TY - oh goodness!
Banjo - huh?
Bamboo - oak? pine?
Audio - wow!
Angus - beef
Ashley - too feminine

The medication still ruins it for me. The children in class with a child Allegra won't know the difference.
If this is the Allegra I think it is, she's 20 or 21, so it shouldn't be an issue. Nowadays, I do agree that it would be problematic for a baby, which is a shame because it's a lovely name.
I agree, it stinks when great names become associated with things that could cause teasing or not so wonderful associations.
