I kind of like it, but it reminds me of the word "oddly." I think it would fine to use in a place like France or Germany though.

One of my cousins has a daughter named Ottilie, called Tilly. I like it, in its way, though I can see how it is frilly for some people's tastes. Tilly's siblings are Sophrona and Frank.

There is an older English children's comic called Rupert, about a polar bear (Rupert) and his friends, one of whom is Ottoline the otter. I tend to put te two together in my head! The association is actually pleasant.

I like it in theory, but it reminds me a little too much of the word "oddly". :-/

It makes me think of a tottering cartoon old lady... The 'tottering' probably came from the sound of the name...It's similar to one of my great aunt's name. She used her middle name.

I adore it. It's so delightful and a rather unusual choice.:o)

It sounds to harsh to me, a bit like "oddly." I also hate Otto and Tilly, so that could be part of why I'm not crazy about Ottilie. It does look rather cute, though.

It's one of the few O names I actually like, I think it's very pretty. I love nn Tillie.Ottilie Freya is the first combo off the top of my head, then Ottilie Margot.
