Dorothy
Dorothy was my grandmother's name and I've always loved it - means Gift from God!
Do you think its about time it had a comeback? Do you think it would be ok on a baby today and would it go with my other children's names?
Any mn suggestions too?

I think it's adorable, and fine for today.

My great-aunt's name was Dorothy Grace. I think it should make a comeback. The nicknames Dottie and Dot would be good, too.I also like Dorothea.

Certainly is time for a few baby Dorothys, imo. I like the name quite a bit, it would be fine on a baby today. Dorothy could fit in fine with your kids names, it would stand out a bit, the other first names are more common, but that is not necessarily a bad thing.

I love the name, but it unfortunately still seems very old to me. I would definitely encourage you to use it in the mn spot, and if you're brave enough, go for it as a fn! I think it will come back, at least a bit, and while it seems a bit different than your other names, don't worry about it.

I usen't to like Dorothy but it has grown on me quite a lot lately.I have always liked Dorothea though. I think either Dorothea or Dorothy would go with your children's names and there are plenty of nice nn possibilities.

I like Dorothy, it's on my list though I do prefer Dorothea. I'm not sure about it going with your other children's first names though but it wouldn't stick out too much, it's just because it less popular. However, it does fit in with all your children's names (fns and mns). Plus the nn Dottie or Dolly would be cute.
I would use it on a baby today (but then I'd also use Albert, Sidney, Walter, Jean, Audrey, Edith etc so maybe I'm not the best person to ask :) )I've just done one middle name even though your children have two.
