Troy for a girl???
One of my girlfriends name is Troy Robyn. What do you think of Troy for a girl???
Replies
I actually read in a baby name book (sorry I don't remember which one) that Troy can be a girls name, it's not as popular though, I think its popular in France for a girls name, but I could be wrong.
What? No way! Masculine name all the way.

I don't like using boy's names for girls and vice versa. I don't like Troy as a boy's name either.

I just don't like that name..for boy or girl. I always get tongue-tied with it.
...i prefer Helen:)

Ew, no offense to your friend, but that's terrible. Poor girl! I'd go by Robyn if I was her. Or if she lives in the US, have it changed to Tory.

Ack & I actually like unisex names (& even masculine names on girls). There is nothing attractive / feminine about that name at all.

I don't like it for a girl or boy.
Ack - no! I plan on using it as a middle name for a future son, if my future husband agrees, of course. It's in no way feminine! We cannot lose another male name to girls!
