I've loved
Leda for a long time. In Greek mythology, she's the mother of
Helen of
Troy (by
Zeus). I've always pronounced it "LEE-da," but I have heard it once said, "LAY-da." Do you like it? How would you pronounce it? Combinations?
Leto is a new love of mine, thanks to these boards. She's the mother of
Apollo and
Artemis (by
Zeus). Thoughts? Pronunciation? I say, "LEE-toh." Combinations?
Which do you prefer,
Leda or
Leto, and why?
