Wilhelmina
I've suddenly fallen utterly inlove with the name Wilhelmina. I've always liked it, but it was never a top favourite of mine until very recently. WDYT of Wilhelmina, and WDYT of Mina and Willa as NNs for it?
Oh, and feel free to amuse me with combos. I'm yet to discover the perfect MN for Wilhelmina.

Sorry, but Wilhelmina makes me think of the total b!tch in 'Ugly Betty,' and plus I really just hate the name. It sounds pinched to me.
I like the name Wilhelmina. I think the NN Mina is nice. I like the combo Wilhelmina Grace. I know Grace is common, but it does sound nice with Wilhelmina.
Thanks
Thanks
I do like the sound of Wilhelmina but it looks so clunky written down. I LOVE Mina and think it stands alone. Willa is also nice and could be a full name as well.
Nrms but I can live with the nn Willa.
Oh, I love Wilhelmina! :) Mina and Willa are both great... I think I slightly prefer Willa, though.
I haven't found quite the right combo yet either - it always seems to feel better in the MN spot for me. But I'll see what I can do. :)

Thanks! I really like most of the combos, but these are my favourites:
Wilhelmina Agatha - love this one! It's wonderfully old-fashioned. I've been looking for a good name to pair Agatha with, and I think I've now found one.
Wilhelmina Chrysanthemum - You know, I actually really like this one! It's insanely long and wouldn't probably work for anyone else but me, but I think the names sound goof together because there's something similar about them. They both have that "Iron Butterfly" feel to them. Maybe a third name between them would make the combo a little less heavy, like Wilhelmina Ivy Chrysanthemum, or Wilhelmina Lynn Chrysanthemum. It would still quite a mouthful, but I don't mind.
Wilhelmina Claire - I usually don't like Claire as a MN because it's so overused, but it really works in this combo.
Wilhelmina Colette - Very delicate and feminine.
Wilhelmina Felicity - Kind of long, but doesn't bother me. Such a sweet combo.
Wilhelmina Ivy - This is probably my favourite.
Wilhelmina Lark - Simply darling.
Wilhelmina Nimue - Now this is an "Iron Butterfly" name if I ever saw one! It's classic, very feminine, and very sophistocated, but also very strong.
Wilhelmina Odette - V. classy and elegant. Love this combo.
Wilhelmina Snow - This one really works for me, because for some reason I associate the name Wilhelmina with snow, winter, and the colour white. I don't know why.
Wilhelmina Twilight - I agree - this combo is stunning.
Glad you liked some of them! :)
I love Wilhelmina with the NN Willa
Wilhelmina is on my family tree and I'm rather fond of it, and especially recently as I've seen it several times on these and other boards and on TV too. I like both Willa and Mina as nns though I prefer Mina. I'm not sure that Wilhelmina will exactly work that well in todays society but Willa or Mina definitely will. :)
I really like Wilhelmina Johanna but here are some other combos for your consideration:
Wilhelmina Margaret
Wilhelmina Iris
Wilhelmina Pearl
Wilhelmina Opal
Wilhelmina Rosamund
Wilhelmina Eleanor / Elinor
Wilhelmina Claire
Wilhelmina Charlotte
Wilhelmina Jane
Wilhelmina Juliet
Wilhelmina Josephine
Wilhelmina Rose (some how Rose doesn't seem so much like a "filler" mn here)
Wilhelmina Fay / Faye
Wilhelmina Frances
Wilhelmina Adelaide
Wilhelmina Adele

I really like Wilhelmina Johanna, too. Johanna is currently a top favourite of mine, and I think it sounds excellent with the name Wilhelmina. Johanna Wilhelmina would be stunning, too, BTW.
Wilhelmina Irene is gorgeous! It's probably my favourite out of these combos, though I like most of them.

I find it repulsive when pronounced will-hel-MEE-nah, but it's charming when said "willa-MEE-nah". So, if pronounced the latter way, I like it! But it's not in my faves, personally.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE WILHELMINA!!! I pron. it Willa-mina, though, not Wilhel-mina. It's such a huge favorite of mine, and I adore the nn Mina.
Wilhelmina Adeline
Wilhelmina Colette
Wilhelmina Vivian
Wilhelmina Jane
Wilhelmina Ivy
Wilhelmina Laurel
Wilhelmina Ariel
Wilhelmina Delphine
Wilhelmina Ellen

Wilhelmina Lucy - Kind of "Dracula", but in the good way.
Wilhelmina Ivy - Probably my favourite Wilhelmina combo right now. Perfection.
Wilhelmina Astrid - Very classy, extremely sophistocated, and incredibly beautiful.
