I prefer roe-wen-a too though I'm pretty sure roe-WEE-nah is correct, or at least the pronunciation used by most. I think that has a very ugly sound, and it's the reason it's not even on my long list. WEE-nah sounds like someone with a northeast accent talking about a weiner.I got one of my top #2 names for a boy (Cedric) from Ivanhoe many, many years ago when I first read it. Everyone assumes it's from Harry Potter these days... annoys the heck outta me. ;)
