It's pretty strongly associated with teenage goth girls who take the name for role-playing games or for writing morbid or angsty poetry. You know the stereotype: the girl dyes her hair black, wears a ton of black meye makeup and nail polish, wears all black clothing, hides in her dark bedroom playing oh, I don't know, Nine Inch Nails, cutting herself and playing with rune-stones. lolThat's white girls. I think it is a bit more accepted on black girls. Like the actress Rave-Symone, who was just as cute asa button. On black girls, I think it tends to be on a par with a name like Ebony.

Yeppers, that is the stereotype, Raven and Lilith.
I've only know one guy who nicknamed Raven, Never met any girls named that, but the internet there is alot of them.
