Okay. I feel I must me honest here. No hard feelings or anything. Firstly I am unsure how to pronounce these names so correct me if I'm wrong. Kai sounds like a letter to me & not a name - it lacks substance imo. "Nye" if it is pronounced N-eye means "F**k" in Afrikaans. Sorry to be so graphic, but that's what it means. It would be totally unusable in South Africa. Neither of these names have caught on in South Africa btw & I do think they are hopelessly too similar & cutesy for brothers. Hope you weren't offended by this response. That was not my intention. I just wanted to be honest :o) Correct me if I'm out of line. I'm open to the opinions of others.

You were wise to warn!
along the same lines..I didn't know, until I lived in Australia, that Fanny was a term for female genitalia. (I'm Canadian). Here, it's a quite polite and proper term for bum. this is the sort of thing that can trip up strangers!

Ok, I never knew that! That has put me off the name a bit. Why did it have to mean that?!
Thanks for the warning btw!
