Josephine, Seraphine or Delphine?
I am having a "-phine" stage, and these are three that seem to be quite popular on BtN. There's classic and popular Josephine, pretty and poetic Seraphine, and, for botany lovers, the french form of Delphinium, Delphine.
Which is your favorite? middle? least?
For me:
1. Seraphine- It's just beautiful, frankly.
2. Delphine- Yes, it reminds me of Delphine LaLaurie, but I love delphiniums, and it's dainty and cute.
3. Josephine- Pretty? Yes. Classic? Yes. My favorite? No. I love it, but find it somewhat overused (at least out where I live), and I always see Joseph first.
Thoughts? Opinions? Et cetera, et cetera?

Josephine and Seraphine
Are my favorites, I can't choose between them. I prefer the Serafina form though.

Josephine...
Josephine is the only one I would actually consider using, though there is also a family connection for me. It's so lovely, classic, traditional, and it's definitely not overused here as I have never heard it on anyone under the age of fifty. It's rising in popularity in the U.S., but it's still not common here. It's a rare male-turned-female name that I actually like, as I can't stand Roberta, Georgina, Henrietta, Wilhelmina, etc.
Seraphine is simply lovely, but I would only consider using as a mn. As someone else said, it seems a little heavy (and maybe pretentious? like a dressed-up version of Sarah, even if it's not) for a fn.
Delphine is just what you said, dainty and cute. I see it more for a little girl than an adult. Yet it's classic enough that it would probably mature just fine. Very sweet and pretty, and if you like it, go for it. I certainly don't automatically think of Delphine LaLaurie, and it didn't occur to me until you mentioned it.

Delphine
Delphine and then....
Seraphine and Josephine. In that order.
Delphine for the strange reason, that it reminds me of 'dolphin', which is my fave animal at sea. Odd I know, but that is me. (And the Danish word for dolphin is 'delfin', so it could also have some sort of factor into the reason.) I chose Josephine as the last, because it's on our top 50 list for popular girls names here in Denmark and being a fan of unusual names, I'm not much of a fan of it.

It reminds me of Dolphin, too.
Delphine
Delphine is a favorite of mine. It's for me, one of those names that has been on my list for years and years and I swear it's only recently I'm seeing it all the time on this site. It used to get almost universal criticism. LOL. Oh well, it's still a crazy and weird name for non-namers so it's all good.
Seraphine is ok. It's sort of a pretentious version of Sara imo though.
Josephine - I've always found frumpy and plain. I have no good explination for that.
