1. What do you think of these Irish names?
Girls
Aisling I adore this. But only pr ASH-ling (the way Dubliners say it)
Brigh Also really like this, but I've had many comments on it sounding exactly like the cheese - Brie. Which it does =(
Cait Dull, and without much class or sophistication, in my opinion.
Ciara Nice, but sounds like Cara mispronounced to my ears
Boys
Cairbre Only really sounds nice if said with an Irish accent. Otherwise it is turned into "CAR-bra" by American(ish) sounding people. Which isn't really the name.
Colm Lovely
Ryan Nice, but a little safe.
2. Are there any other Irish names that you like? Check out my profile
3. Can you think of any mn for any of the names above or the ones you like?
4. Would it be strange if there was an English child with an Irish name? No.
