Are Yael and Jael pronounced the same?

Something odd.....I'm not certain if they are or are not pronounced the same. But usually you want to ask questions like this one on the facts board.Also I noticed something odd when you press Yael it says hebrew form of Jael. Then you go to Jael and it says that it comes from the hebrew name Ya'el.

I think it means Jael is the form used in English Bibles; whereas Yael is the Hebrew form.

Ah, that's probably it.But I think it would make more sense for Jael to have a link to Yael, instead of Yael having a link to Jael.

I notice things like that a lot in the database, especially concerning Greek names. Original Greek names such as Alexandros and Nikolaos are linked to their English forms.
