Isadora and Claribel
A few questions if you don’t mind. My two favorite girl names at the moment are Isadora and Claribel. What do you think of each name by itself? What do you think of them as sisters?Do you think the names are too long to be paired with the LN Tuivavalagi?Which nickname would you prefer for Isadora? Izzy or Dora?Which nickname would you prefer for Claribel? Clara or Belle? And any middle name suggestions would be awesome.

I really like Isadora. -Bel names get on my nerves, though. (Annabel is an exception because of Poe). I prefer the Dora NN.

- I love Isadora. I think Claribel is okay but Clarabelle looks so much nicer. I think a lot of people see it as a cow name but for me, that association is very slight. I'd soon get over it if I met a human Claribel :-)- I think they'd be okay for sisters. They reinforce once another's olden-days style, if that makes senese. As a pair, they seem more old-fashioned that Isadora and Claribel do separately. That could be a good or bad thing depending on your taste ... I wouldn't personally use them together.- Yikes. I think both names are too long to be paired with that surname, yes. Or maybe "too frilly" is more accurate, since Claribel is only 3 syllables, and a more familiar 3-syl name (Emily, Julia) would be fine with the surname. Claribel Tuivavalagi is just a serious mouthful.- I don't think either Clara or Belle should be a nickname for Claribel - they're names in their own right, and since neither appears in the name (not unless you went with Clarabelle) they seem a bit contrived. I'd rather see Clarrie by far.

I love Isadora... I relate all names back to something, and this reminds me of the Quagmire triplets - Duncan, Isadora and Quigley. Isadora is beautiful on it's own, and I personally love that association. As for Claribel, I do like it. However, my great-grandmother was named Clara, so if I use either of those, I'll use Clara to honor. But Claribel is very nice, too.As sisters, I think they work. They are both 3 syllables, but not similar. I actually think they work very nicely as sisters.Don't let the last name stop you from using the names! They aren't mouthfuls. If teachers/kids/employers/employees can't say it, nicknames/ms. Tuivavalagi works! As for the nicknames... I like Izzy and Belle. If I was going to go with the Clara element, I'd probably call her "Clare" or something of the sort. I'm bad with combos... But hmm, with that last name, and long first names, I'm thinking short middle names. These may be too "filler" for your taste, but the flow works, IMO. Just use your favorite one-syllable names!Isadora Rose
Isadora June
Isadora Maeve
Isadora JeanClaribel May
Claribel Pearl
Claribel Jane
Claribel LouiseThose are probably all interchangable, too!
