jor-JAN-uh. Though part of me wants to pronounce it the other way to recognize the sound I'd expect out of that "i," I just like jor-JAN-uh a bit more. :-) I wouldn't balk if someone specified they'd like it said one way or the other in reference to their kid or themselves; I like both well enough, and neither comes close to putting me off or otherwise bothering me.I have a soft spot for Geordie as a nickname for any Georg- name, be it male or female. Aside from that I wouldn't go with a nickname for Georgiana.
