Lucy.
Lately, I've begun to really, really like the name. I know it's getting a bit trendy, and according to one source, very, very yuppie. Still, I find it quite sweet. I'm quite digging Lucy Amarante.Opinions?

I think that Lucy is a nice name (and I don't think that it needs a longer form). Lucy Amaranthe is a great combo in my opinion!

I love Lucy! No pun intended! I've always thought that the name was very sweet and a bit sassy sounding. Unfortunatly, here in Australia it is getting quite popular too.

I like Lucy. If Amarante is the middle name, I don't like that. I'd change that to Amaris.

I like Lucy but find it really cutesy. It's lovely as a nickname for Lucia, Lucinda, Lucienne, or other Lucy- names.Lucy Amarante is nice, though.

I like it, but I think it is too incomplete on its own. I prefer it as a NN. A Luc- name would be nice with Amarante. I like Lucille or Lucia.

Lucy is very popular and very plain here, rather than yuppie. I can imagine it being yuppie in the US though, alone with many Anglophile names such as Oliver, Milo, Sebastian. I don't really like it, I've just heard it too many times.Lucy Amarante is a cool combo all the same.

My husband LOVES the name Lucy. Whenever we discuss baby names that's always his first pick.

I personally just like the Lucy part. It reminds me of someone sweet, funky, or someone who's just a piece of work. a bit like my cousin.
