Pronounciation of Maren
I was wondering if you pronounce this (im horribly at writing them but ill try) like Mare (like a female horse) en or Mah-reen like the first part of Marina. can anyone help me. again im sorry about the horrible pronounciations. i hope you understand them. thanks

Depending on where you live you will hear two different pronunciations.MAH-ren and MARE-en. I like the latter as my daghter's middle name is Merryn.-Seda*

As Maren is danish and that is quite close to german where it is pronounced MA-ren, this is how I would pronounce it.

I pronounce it MA-ren (not MAIR etc but MAR) but them I'm English and the 'AIR' sound isn't really used, not with my accent at least.
