Lexa
Someone posted this name when they saw Lexus was on my list for girls. I am not sure if I like it or not, but wondering what you guys think?I am not a fan of Alex- so that is not an option. Is Lexa better than Lexus (Lexis)?

Not a fan of any of them, but I do prefer Lexa to Lexus/Lexis.

IMO, Lexus is not a name for a person, lest the car always be thought of that people think the child is named after. A former co-worker had 2 daughters, Lexus and Mercedes. Enough said. What about Lexi, short for Alexis?

Yes, Lexa at least is feminine :)
But it's still incomplete to me :)

Yes, I think Lexa is better than Lexus. I don't care for either name that much, though. I like that Lexa is more feminine. Lexus just seems pretenious to me.

I think both Alex and Lexa are too nickname-y. I prefer Alexandra with Alex as a nickname, and Alexa with Lexa as a nickname.

I think Lexa is okay, but it seems to be more of a nickname than full first name to me. I do prefer it over Lexus, which of course Ithink of the car.

No, I think Lexus is a far better name. I love Lexus! :-)
And yes, I'm not ashamed to say that I like Lexus because of the car - you get to drive one in The Getaway, when you're with Eyebrows (who I love ^ ^).
So Pro-Andrew, it hurts.(check profile for base credits)

I would use Lexa as a pet name for Alexia, which is much prettier. "Dance like no one's watching."

Lexus seems trashy to me because of the car connection. It also seems masculine because of the -us ending.Lexa is much, much better IMO. Lexia is even better.Shannon

Yeah, it is. I don't like Lexa--it kind of sounds like a window cleaner to me--but Lexus is about as classy as Porsche. It's also miles better than the overly-cutsey Lexie. As much as I liked Lexie on Monarch of the Glen, I couldn't imagine giving a girl a name that sounded like something one might call a cocker spaniel!Array

In my humble opinion, Lexa is much better than Lexus because there's not the association with the car that way.
