Lark (g)
What does everyone think of Lark for a girl?
Also I need some suggestions for more feminine middle names, I have Lark Beatrice at the moment ...
Edit: because I forgot to ask, what other acceptabele 'bird' names are there that you like?
TIA

It'd make a better middle name imo. It's quite nice though, and very unusual :-)
I do love Larkin for a girl, and I imagine Lark might become a nn for that.

I think I would need to 'test it out on family members before using it though, I can imagine it being confusing

All I can think of is "That's a lark" (a joke)

I think if you use Larkin it'll sound feminine
I kind of like Lark. I don't think I would ever use it, but I think it could be really cool for someone else, if you know what I mean.
The only other bird names I can think of are Robin and Martin. Maybe Finch.
I think because of the strong "K" sound at the end Lark sounds best with softer mn, such as:
Lark Anna
Lark Amelia
Lark Amanda
Lark Sophia
Lark Samantha
Lark Olivia
Lark Eva
Lark Fiona
Lark Adelaide
Lark Imogen
I also like Lark Beatrice.

I know what you mean by liking the name on 'someone else' ;)
I did consider Finch because of Atticus Finch, but then I thought it's the guy in American Pie, no?
Thanks for your suggsetions, I really like Lark Anna, Lark Sophia and Lark Fiona :)

I dislike Lark (it sounds boyish and unpretty to me, and I don't manage to see it as a real name).

I like it. I like names from nature. As long as the mn isn't also a noun, then great. How about:

Lark Emilia
Lark Aurelia / Aurelie
Lark Alicia / Alice / Alix
Lark Estella
Lark Elizabeth
Lark Elena
Lark Anais
Lark Isolde
Lark Eileen
Lark Evelyn
Lark Ingrid
Lark Astrid
Lark Anneliese
Lark Annabel
Lark Evangeline
Lark Marianne

Lark Marianne
I forgot to say, please no noun names :)
I love Lark Annabel, Lark Miranda and Lark Anais which is good because I really wanted a middle name with special meaning to me and all those do!
Thanks :)
