My little brothers name is Declan - I really like it.

It's far too popular where I live. If you're in the States, I think it's nice but would blend in too much with all these other Irish names ending in "an" that are trendy right now.

I like it. Though I think I'd prefer the welsh name Dylan just a bit more. It's kind of close to Declan - 2 syllable, start with 'd', 2nd syllable is 'lan'.

I don't care for it. I find it harsh sounding, and I don't find it at all strong or masculine sounding.
