I've liked it for awhile but I'd never use it I don't think. Well, for a character maybe, but not a real person. Anyway, a combo I had was Saxon Elijah.

A brother of Saxon could be Anglo. (Just kidding).
It's not a boys name to me. It would be like naming your son French, German or Irish.

I'm going to name my baby girl Saskia when she's born. Saxon is nice also and seems like the masculine form.

I like it, even if the kid's not of Saxon origin. It's still interesting to name someone after something in history, like of tribes and stuff (it's why I like Maya, Cameron, and Dorian so much).

Hmmm. I agree that it is a bit harsh sounding & needs a softer middle name to balance it out. How about Saxon Ashley, Saxon Kelly, Saxon Emil, Saxon Marley, Saxon Brody, Saxon Carlisle? I think Saxon Carlisle and Saxon Emil are my favorites. To be born Welsh is not to be born with a silver spoon in your mouth, but with a song in your heart.

I think it's ok as a mn, if the parents have Saxon origins or any other kind of link to the Saxons.

I see Saxon's charm - it's nice and unusual - but it's very hard sounding. I envision a warrior, and can imagine the school bully being called Saxon, but not a gentle child. It needs a gentle-sounding middle name to balance it out, methinks:Saxon Joshua
Saxon Hazael
Saxon Aleksi
Saxon Gabriel
Saxon Connell (would prefer Connell Saxon)_____________________________________________________________________"[David Gest] looks like he's had a lot of plastic surgery done, but not by a plastic surgeon."Elinor

I don't care for it. It isn't a name to me, but something one would learn about in history class. I also just don't like the sound of it. If I had to make a combo of it, I'd suggest Saxon Michael.
