I would properly pronounce it si-DO-nee, but my tongue always wants to say si-DAH-nee. I'm trying to train my tongue to stop doing that, but it's being stubborn.

Well, my first thought is its a French name, and there really isn't one syllable that's stressed more than the others. "see-duh-nee."

In English, I'd say, "SID-uh-nee." But I've never heard this one said other than in French.

As far as I know, the correct pronunciation of Sidonie is "sih-DOH-nee" or "sih-doh-NEE," but whenever I see it, I say "SIH-duh-nee." Blame the Midwestern accent.
