These are the births from February until now at the local hospital. There are some pretty bad ones sadly. Anyway, here they are:

Both an Alec and Xander in the same month. Maybe Alexander is starting to get turned over for it's nicknames instead. I also saw an 18 month old Alec mentioned in the newspaper as one of the son's of a police officer a couple of weeks ago. Ah well, hopefully this isn't any indication that Alec is going to be uber-trendy now, Alec is my favorite nickname for Alexander and I happen to love it on it's own too.
So WDYT?

Some comments:
Kenna (my friend’s baby) - This is about the 3rd Kenna I've heard of this year. Seems an odd name to become popular, but maybe it's because of McKenna (and I agree that Kenna is better!).
JaiLeigh - I know boys and girls with the Jale-/Jayl- names and I CAN'T understand the attraction! This one is particularly bad because of the odd capitalization and the Jail- smacks you in the face. 'Yes, my child is going to jail.' :b
Trentity (This is just awful) - I agree, this is the worst I've seen in a while! If you're going to spell a name kre8tivlee, at least do it so it is pronounced the same! (I'm pretty sure they are pronouncing it like Trinity, don't you think?)
Marlena - Do you think they like Days of Our Lives?? lol
Taighten - Uck. Looks made up, no matter how you spell it.
Trevyn - Also made up
Braeden - I'm sick of this name already, no matter you spell it, either.
