I pretty much agree on everything you've said ...
The main reason I don't like it though is because it reminds me of harlot.I would keep to the Harley spelling, I can't think of any nn's but I don't think there is a need for one, maybe Lee / Leigh / Ley as an affectionate name rather than a formal nickname. Alice x
