I like:
Karen
Laurie - Prefer as a nn. I like this spelling far better than Lori, Lorie, or Lorry
Lisa - Prefer as a nn for Elisabeth
Olympia
Dorian - Prefer Doria, Doriana, Dorienne, or even Doriette for a girl. I only like Dorian for a boy
JaneCarmine
Peter
David
Bruce
Frank - Prefer as a mn. Though originally I preferred this as a nn, I've become used to this as an independant name referring directly to the Frankish tribe
Todd
Robert
Austin
Ben - Prefer as a nn, though it could be an independant name too (meaning, simply, "son" in Hebrew)
Anthony
Michael
Lawrence - Prefer Laurence
Mark
Steven - Also like Stephen
Shawn - My favourite Anglicised spelling of Seán (which I only like spelled with the accent)
Miranda

DavidNot too many 'good' ones there today. :b BTW, Meri and Maxie would've been ok as nn's for Meredith and Maxine. But why would someone name their child Maxie? Like Maxi pad?? Poor kid.
