How do you prononce Isobel and Ishbel? Like Isabel, or another way?
I pron. Isobel (ee-zoh-bel), which is why I dislike it. I probably would pron. the second one eesh-bel.

Isobel: IZ-o-bel; Ishbel: ISH-bel.

Isobel - IZZ-uh-bell, so in practice it sounds exactly like Isabel.

Ishbel is exactly phonetic - ISH-bell (first syllable rhymes with "dish")
