I could very well be wrong, I'm not a fluent Welsh speaker, but I think it's pronounced with a sound that's somewhere between an 'r' and a 'v'. It's quite trilled.Yes, Seren does mean 'star'. I'm currently ransacking all the name boards I know trying to find names I like that mean 'moon', 'sun' etc!
