dislike Laerke. It just doesn't seem right or the spelling is off or something... I dunno. But I do really like Leland. :)

I don't care for Lærke (Laerke) - it looks too jumbled, and would probably cause spelling/pronunciations problems. I don't care for Leland, either. It isn't masculine sounding.

I think Laerke is pretty with that pronunciation, but it might be difficult for most people to pronounce correctly, so I personally wouldn't use it unless I was Danish. I actually knew a girl named Leland, and to me it sounds a lot better as a last name.
