What do you think of the name Stephanie? The name would be in honor of my dad, who practically raised me and my brother alone, and, apart from my husband, was/is the most important person in my life. My husband dated a girl named Stephanie for about 5 months, but he called her by the nn Kitten. We both love the name and agree that the positive association outweighs the negative. I thought the name was very 1980s but was pleased to see it's been in the top 500 since 1900. Any suggestions on middle names? If you don't like Stephanie, could you suggest another girl's name begining with the letter "s" that would go with a ln similar to McAnne. Have you considered using a name of someone your husband dated, no matter how long or breifly? All advice appreciated and needed. Thank you.
