Pruitt for a 1st name sounds kind of prissy.. too close to prude prudence and prune to me. I say leave it in the last name only catagory.

Pruitt is very ugly to me, sorry.
I like Ezekiel (like this) and Elijah though.

I like it (I also love Truett nn True), though I would spell it Pruett. I dislike Elijah, and Ezekial is ok, but I'm not really crazy about it.

It would definitely make a good sibling for Piper Elizabeth. Although you may end up getting stuck in the letter theme.

I have a bad association with a guy who goes by Pruitt (his last name) and so I can't stand this name sorry.

Someone recently used the term "redneck chic" - I think Pruitt fits in that category, but mainly because the only thing that comes to mind is the actor Pruitt Taylor Vince, who has played no shortage of rednecks.

I don't care for it. It's too much of a surname; I knew a guy with that as a surname name, too. I don't think nicknames should be planned, but Pru isn't very masculine - it's a common nickname for Prudence. I don't care for the middle name choices.

Pruitt was the last name of a friend of mine in college, so it seems surnamey to me. (surnamey= nmsaa). Sorry!

Of your 2 combo's, I'd choose Pruitt Elijah.

Pru does not work for me as a boy's nn. In my mind, it is short for Prudence, which, also in my mind, is stricly a girl's name.

If it were a boy (and juding by the middle names, it is) I would go for Prewitt. It seems more masculine. I like Prewitt Elijah. Pru seems more girly.
