Dana for a boy
Replies
It's terrible to me, sorry. I love Dana on a girl though.
I don't like it for either one.
Since it is my name I think it sounds feminine and like it.
A good friend of mine told me that growing up in the South, there were many boys named Dana.

It's probably more interesting on a boy, but I dislike the name full stop. (As for the gender, I definitely consider it unisex.)
I do love the Celtic name Danna (DAN-a, rhyming with Hannah) for a girl though.

I know a male Dana, but I think it's too feminine for a male. But, I don't like it for a girl, either.
I like it on boys too. I've only met 2 Danas personally in my whole life, and one was a boy. He'd be about 30 now.. the name was unusual then, as well, although glancing at the pop chart, not as unusual as I'd assumed.
If I used the name it'd be for a boy, but I like it on girls fine.
I'd kind of prefer Daina on a girl (unless someone tells me that it's prn differently from Dana).

It's nms on either sex.
I love Dana for a boy! Like you, although the name is legitimately unisex, I find it fresher on a boy.
